Destiny 2: The Final Shape - Liminality (2024)

I was responsible for lighting the new strike from The Final Shape, "Liminality". This was another unique challenge in that it needed to pull from Hive and Pyramid palettes but then have them blended into the surreal, horrific aesthetics of "The Impasse" from the Pale Heart. This used a more cut-up approach to color scripting to both give those two very different palettes a recognizable identity but also to emphasize the chaos brought about by the Witness during its attack on the Traveller.
